It was the best of times, it was the worst of times...

First, it was the WORST of times...Usually I like going for car rides,

but not on this Friday!

We went back to that doctor that gave me four shots just two months ago.
Well, guess what?! I got four more again!!!
I think Mom cried more than me though.
We did find out that I'm getting so big!
I'm 24 and 3/4 inches tall and weigh 14.8 pounds!

After that though, it was the BEST of times!!
I got to go camp out with Memaw and Grandad that night!
It was Grandad who finally got me to smile again...

I had dinner with Daddy before he and Mom left,
but you can imagine how tired I was after yelling at those nurses.

Even though it wasn't quite bedtime,
I had to take a rest.

The next day I played and played with Memaw and Grandad
while Mom and Daddy were out
running some big race with lots of other people.
They came to get me afterwards and
let me have their ribbons from the mini marathon.
We went to Cousin Gus's house too, but he was sleeping.
Next time I've decided I'll wake him up.

The next day, Mom and I went to church
then went to Memaw and Grandad's again.
Daddy was very busy golfing.
He told me that next year, I'll be driving the cart for him.

It was a very beautiful day on Sunday,
and Mom and Memaw made a tent outside for me.

Mom even joined me in my tent for a little while.
It was so nice I decided to try to get nakee butt and take my diaper off.

Mom caught me trying to get nakee butt,
and put my diaper back on though.

After hanging out in my tent we stopped by a bridal shower
for one of Mommy's friends then we met Dad and Grandad for some dinner.
Me and Memaw played one of my favorite games
while we waited for Dad and Grandad...
stand up... sit down... stand up.... sit down...
I sure do love hanging out with Memaw!

But I think Daddy is my favorite peep!

A Day In The Life

Good morning to you!

Daddy gets me up from my crib in the mornings
and I always smile as soon as I see him.

Uh Oh!!
I think I filled my diaper...
Time for a diaper change first thing!!


I like talking to my lion while Mom makes Daddy's
breakfast in the morning before he goes off to work.
But sometimes I get a little impatient!
A fellow can get awful hungry after a full night of sleep.

Time for breakfast in the big bed!

Now I've got a full belly....

Time to relax and watch a little TV.
I like The Little Einsteins the best.

I like to get a good morning nap in the big bed.
And sometimes, Mom even helps!

Then I wake up ready to play and play!

I try to get a good workout in every day.
Sometimes, I use my jumper for some cardio.

You might not believe this,
but sometimes I have a hard time getting Mom to do what I want
so I have to yell at her for a little while.

When Daddy comes home, I jump for joy!
We play and play all night until it's time for bed.

Then Mom gets my jammies on and rocks me to sleep.

It's a good life!!

4 Months Old Today!

on December 24, 2006 at 5:18 p.m. the most
exciting thing ever happened to me....
I was born!!!

Wrapping Up a Good Weekend

After boating all day the day before,

I woke up after a good night's sleep
and started my morning with a few
stretches to get ready for the day.

While Mom and Daddy read the paper and
eat breakfast, I like to get into a good book.

Yep - sure does taste yummy!!

Sunday was such a nice day that dad decided to get a
hole in one at the Water Tower contest.
Next year, I'll probably be able to play too.

Then we went to see Memaw and Grandad again!

I sure do love hanging out on the water
with Memaw and Grandad!

A Day on The River

I'll do it Grandad!
Just show me the throttle again!

Memaw and I were catching a breeze up top after I maneuvered the big boat out of the marina.

Then Dad let me ride his shoulders for a better view...
On a side note - Daddy's hair sure does taste yummy!

Fun in the sun with Mom and Memaw!
We were on our way downtown to watch the
air show at Thunder Over Louisville.
I didn't like the planes one bit though!
They were very loud and I plan on writing a strongly worded letter and tell them to be quieter next year.

Yelling at all those planes made me sleepy...

Daddy and I hung out on the way back up river after I woke up from my nap.

Whew!
What an exciting day on the river!
Time to relax and go with the flow.

Back in the marina and all is well!

Piloting a boat is hard work, so we took a play break.
Here I am with Grandad and LOOK...
We caught a fish!

I got to be on a boat AND fly at the same time!
What a night of fun!
I can't wait for tomorrow when we come back during the day....

I Discover Boating

Here I am walking down the dock with Memaw Friday night.
They were aboard the Sand Castle with Captain Jacques so we went to visit too!

The Sand Castle sure is a nice boat!

I'm such a good pilot I can do this blindfolded, backwards and with one hand tied behind my back.
Or at least facing backwards!...

According to the radar and the charts, we need to make a left up here...

I think this one's the throttle, right Daddy?
