I'm Back!

I know you've been missing seeing what I've been up to!
But after a very windy day,
we didn't have power or anything for 10 days!!!
We were at the zoo with Grandma Joyce when it got very windy
and this is what we came home to!....

But being without power wasn't all that bad.
I got to hang out a lot with Cousin James
and even got to finish my zoo trip!

I even got to ride a turtle!

We also celebrated Memaw's birthday!
Happy Birthday to you again, Memaw!!

We also got to see my
Great Aunt Be and Great Uncle Steve and Great Uncle Bill!

And Booboo and I got to sit in matching high chairs
at Beef O'Brady's and watch my favorite sport - football!

Eventually, some big trucks came to fix everything.
I sure did like the big trucks and
was very happy to watch Go Diego Go again!

Once our power was back on and we could see,
Dad and I picked up all those stickies that storm blew down.

And I was a very helpful fellow and
showed Dad the spots he was missing when
we were cleaning the driveway!

I sure am glad to have everything back to normal!

I Go Two By Two

The day before the big wind storm,
we got to visit Henry's Ark!
When we pulled in the parking lot,
this ostrich came right up to welcome me!

Then I saw these geese and went right up to say hello!
But then Dad told me to back up before those geese tried
to bite my baby nose off!

Further down the road were all these ducks
and Dad told me that they wouldn't bite my baby nose off
and that I could play with them.

So I played in the puddles with them!

And I was a very sweet man to share a carrot with this duck
even though he acted like he didn't want it.

Then Dad saw these goats and
they started making funny faces at each other.

And since the duck didn't want my carrot,
I decided to share it with this goat!

Then I discovered that I was being watched!
This little baby goat followed me all over
trying to get my other carrot!

So Dad finally gave that baby goat a bite of his carrot.

I wanted to share mine with this peacock!

And we even had some left over to give to the sheep!

I was very sad when I realized that I had given all my carrots away
and didn't have any left over for this cute donkey.

I had so much fun and didn't want to leave those animals at all.
But Dad said we could visit that ark again soon!

A Zoo Visit With Granda Joyce

I was still pretty tired from seeing all those other animals
the day before at Henry's ark
so I grabbed my shades and a cup of coffee
while we were waiting for Grandma Joyce.

Just kidding!
It's just apple juice!
Mom forgot my cup so I had to use this coffee cup instead.

One of our first stops is always the bengal tiger!
I wanted to make sure that
Mom and Grandma Joyce and Booboo were looking at him.

He sure is a pretty cat!

I know that pushing my baby sis can get pretty tiring,
so I helped Grandma Joyce with the stroller.

After the zoo,
we headed to her house for some games and lunch!

Booboo and I got to play with tons of stuff!

Thanks for all the games and fun, Grandma Joyce!

My Favorite Jungle Gym

As soon as Dad gets home from work,
I never let him out of my sight.
Sometimes though I'm a very patient fellow
and I let him change clothes before we play DADDY BOOM.

Sometimes to unwind at the end of a long day,
we watch TV together.

Yep, you just don't get any more comfortable than this.

After we both relax for a little while,
I usually have Booboo distract Dad so I can
position him just right to be my jungle gym.
I climb in and out and over and under him!
He makes the best jungle gym ever!

I Get to See the Animals

All week long I've been telling mom and dad
that I wanted MORE ANIMALS.
So we got to go to zoo today!
I take my animal watching very seriously.

I was very happy to get to see Scotty the elephant!
He's one of my favorites and I've been talking about him a lot lately.

I've also been talking a lot about tigers, too.
But did you know that this one
turned his back on me just like Critter does?

I sure did enjoy all the animals, but Booboo fell asleep.
She'll have to wait until she gets big like me to really appreciate the zoo!
YAY for the ANIMALS!

Hangin' With Booboo

I love getting in the pack-n-play with Booboo!
I'm always telling Mom to come join us!

We always have so much fun...

Even though sometimes Booboo hogs the spotlight...

AND even though she can be so loud I have to plug my ears...

I sure do love hangin' out with my baby sis!
