More Derby Fun

On Saturday afternoon,
Dad and I chose three of our favorite clubs and
headed to the Hole In One contest.

Dad said he would let me take a few swings...

So I grabbed my driver and set a couple balls up.

I didn't get the hole in one I wanted,
but I did get to stand on the sideline
and cheer for Dad!

It was very much fun
and I know next year, we'll get that hole in one!!

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

All the Derby events are in full swing
and it's a very exciting time around here!
On Friday, I got to go downtown and
party at the Fest-A-Ville!

There was a band there and I loved dancing on the great lawn.

I even had one of my favorite bears with me!

I think Baby Sis wanted to dance, too,
but she was stuck to Mom.

After I danced and danced,
I saw a whole bunch of horses!

Dad took me in for a closer look and
told me if I wanted to ride it, I could.

But then I decided that riding that horse
would probably something that I would be better at next year.

After we had very much fun at the Fest-A-Ville,
I thought my night was over, but I was wrong!

We all went to the Balloon Glow to watch all the hot air balloons
get ready to race on Saturday morning!

I sure did enjoy watching those balloons glow with Dad.

And then on the way home,
Dad even got me my very own glowing sword!

Yep, I sure do love Derby time!
And Mom told me that there's more Derby fun ahead!

Outdoor Adventures

Everyone already knows that I love golf...

And I love football, too!
HUT 1, HUT 2....

Hmmm... I wonder if there's a way to combine the two?

Maybe I'll call it folf?
Or golfball?
Or maybe goofball!

It's much harder to hit a football with two golf clubs than it looks!

All that playing can make a fellow thirsty!
I wonder what else I can get into after I have a water break?

Well this is new!

Did you know that water is coming out of this thing??

And if I hold it like this,
I can cool off my baby feets!

Yep, I'm all wet!
I just love all my outdoor adventures!
And summer is just starting!

Lunchtime Adventures

I sure do love having lunch with Dad.
He always helps me eat my apples
and opens my toys in my happy meal!

And did you know that when I went to have lunch with Dad,
I made a new friend?
My new friend, Cindy, helped me climb into the bushes to play hide and seek!

Thanks, Cindy for playing ring-around-the-bushes with me!
I had a great lunchtime adventure!

As Goofy As I Wanna Be

I just love my baby life!
I can wear a goofy hat and
use a rake inside on the carpet if I want to!

Yep, the Life of Riley is pretty darn good!

I Pay a Visit to Aunt Janet

I love the great outdoors!
Last week, we walked up to Aunt Janet's in the very nice weather.

She has very big trees in her yard,
and I let her know how how pretty they all are.

Hmm, I think that by the end of summer,
I'll be able to climb this one!

YAY for Springtime!!!

Thanks, Aunt Janet for letting us visit and for fixing my bear's hat
and for all the cool water to drink!
See you again soon!

Upside Down Peekabees

Did you know that I can do all sorts of tricks?
Watch this...

It's an Upside Down Peekabee!!!

I just love showing off all my tricks!

I Love My Bear

This is my favorite bear.
My friend Sharon got it for me when I still inside Mom's belly!

My bear sure is a good sleeping partner
and even a pillow sometimes!
Thanks Sharon!
I sure do love my bear and I tell Mom and Dad all the time!

An Afternoon With Bubbles

Yesterday, I got to play with my bubble gun that Aunt Janet got me for Easter!

The bubbles come out right here,
but for some reason, it doesn't work quite as well when I cover up this hole...

I sure do love trying to catch all these bubbles!

What a very fun outdoor adventure!
I know there will be very many to follow.

I Like to Walk With the Animals

After my golf lesson, we all got loaded up into the car
and took a trip to the zoo!
It was my first time here all year!

You could tell it was spring time, too!
There was a very big field of daffodils that I got to wander around in...

But that got boring and I knew there were a ton of animals to see,
so I told Dad that we needed to go that way!

But all the animals were in these big cages...
I couldn't get nearly as close as I wanted to...

But Dad held me up so I could see all the monkeys!
They were pretty funny and I liked them.

And then Mom held me up so I could see the Rhinos!

After pushing baby sis all day, Dad was looking a little tired.
So I was happy to help!
I pushed sis all the way through the rest of the zoo!

What a very good spring day!
