A Few of My Favorite Things

I got to enjoy a very beautiful spring day
today with some of my favorite things!

I got to eat a popsicle outside with Booboo...

And I got to have a ton of bubbles with my bubble gun!

I think Booboo enjoyed my bubbles too!
She laughed and laughed whenever they landed on her.

Yep, some of my favorite things sure
did make a very special day for me!

Popsicles Are Num

I went to see Memaw this week and look what she had for me!
A ton of popsicles!

They were very heavy
so I helped her carry them to the kitchen.

Mmmmmm.....
Orange is very num!
It makes my belly feel very cool!

It's a very fun thing for a fellow to be able
to enjoy a popsicle with his shirt off on a very warm spring day!

I Have Some Friends Over

Monday was supposed to be a holiday and my day off,

but did you know that Mom made me help her do some chores?!

It was my job to sweep the floor...

And then I decided that while I was at it,
I would go ahead and clean my fort very well also!

A little bit later, Dad checked on my progress and

was very impressed with the good job I did!

Then it was time to play and play!
Finally!!!

But I was very happy that I cleaned up,
because Aunt Cindi and Nicolette came over to see me!

It was very fun to have company in my fort!!

And Booboo enjoyed all the girl talk!
But instead of listening to that stuff,
I decided to help Dad...

He needed me to help him build a very big bonfire!
Mom said next time she would have marshmallows for us
and we could make smores!

After I played and played outside,
Nicolette put some bubbles in my bath!

But then I even made some bubbles of my own!

Oops!

After I got all clean,
I went back outside to give Dad some night-night love.

And I gave Aunt Cindi some night-night love...

And after I gave Booboo some night-night love,
Mom and I read the books and I had a very good night's sleep.

Calvin and Hobbes Ride Again

I love my Critter Cat.

I'm pretty sure she likes me too,
even if she never lets me pet her head.

But that's alright...
I let her pet my head instead!!

The Life of Riley

This weekend, I was a very big helper for Dad.

I helped him dig this drain out...
at least when he shared his tools

But a fellow can get tired after so much helping...
So I had a better idea...

Here Dad...
I'll help from this chair for a while if you just help me set it up.

But after I was done helping Dad,
Mom said she needed some help planting some things.

So I grabbed my shovel and pail and I was on my way.

I sure do love all this nature and
being out in the trees and grass and dirt.

And the best part about getting very dirty
is that at night I get to get very clean!!

Whew!!!
What a busy weekend!!!
I think I'll turn on Booboo's bouncy chair
and relax for a while.

Ahhh... I sure do love this massaging chair!
Yep, this is the life for me!

I Go Undercover

Lately, I've been practicing the art of camouflage.


Now you see me...

Look at how well my PJ's blend in with the grass!!

And I can run so fast now,
I'm just like a green blur out here!

After I ran and ran it was time to refuel.
But I sure do love being camouflaged!!!

Waiting for Dad

Hey, Mom??

Dad accidentally closed the bathroom door
when he went in to take a shower....

I'm sure he didn't mean to lock me out,
so I'll just wait right here for him.

I guess I'll pass the time by
practicing my upside-down-peekabees.

Hey Mom! Look!!

Now I'll try a one-footed-upside-down-peekabee...


Come on, Dad!!
You're missing my tricks!!!
Waiting sure can be hard on a fellow that wants to play!

Mom Has a Very Happy Mother's Day

I woke Mom up very early for Mother's Day
because I didn't want her to miss a thing!
I even helped Dad make up the bed for her!

We did a great job making that big bed!

Then I helped put away the laundry...

I also decided to get the vacuum cleaner out and
help Dad make the carpet clean!

And I made sure to give Boo-Boo lots of love
and keep her awake so she could help Dad and me keep Mom company
and help make sure that Mom was enjoying her day!

I also helped with grocery shopping
and made sure that Mom and Dad didn't forget to get my cream pies!

Then I took her to my favorite family restaurant
so I could have chips and salsa.
And did you know that they even gave her a rose
since she's such a good Mom??

I got to have part of that flower and I smelled it the whole way home.

Yep, Mom sure did enjoy her Mother's Day
with a little help from me and Dad and Boo-Boo!
