Mom Has a Very Happy Mother's Day

I woke Mom up very early for Mother's Day
because I didn't want her to miss a thing!
I even helped Dad make up the bed for her!

We did a great job making that big bed!

Then I helped put away the laundry...

I also decided to get the vacuum cleaner out and
help Dad make the carpet clean!

And I made sure to give Boo-Boo lots of love
and keep her awake so she could help Dad and me keep Mom company
and help make sure that Mom was enjoying her day!

I also helped with grocery shopping
and made sure that Mom and Dad didn't forget to get my cream pies!

Then I took her to my favorite family restaurant
so I could have chips and salsa.
And did you know that they even gave her a rose
since she's such a good Mom??

I got to have part of that flower and I smelled it the whole way home.

Yep, Mom sure did enjoy her Mother's Day
with a little help from me and Dad and Boo-Boo!

Mr. Fix-It

Memaw is taking a trip this weekend,
so Grandad and I wanted to make sure her car was ready to go.

Okay, I think I need a 3/16 wrench...
is this the right one?

Hold on while I make the necessary adjustments...

Looks pretty good to me...
What do you think, Grandad?

Don't forget to check your trunk for stowaways, Memaw!

I also helped Grandad rotate the tires...
I didn't want him to get cold doing all this hard work,
so I took my shirt to help.

Boo-Boo Gets Love

I sure do love my baby sis,
but "Katelyn" is very hard for a fellow to say.
I've decided to start calling her Boo-Boo instead.
I'm a very good big brother!

I'm a Very Popular Fellow

Today we went to a birthday party for Mom at Aunt Cindi's house.
My new friend Caitlyn and I were writing
happy birthday messages on Aunt Cindi's deck.

And then I played hide and seek in their pool with Haleigh too!
Mom says it will be very fun when that pool has water
and I can swim in it all day long!

I sure did have lots of fun with my new friends!

And it's very lucky for a fellow to be surrounded by such pretty girls!

And did you know that not only are these girls very pretty,
but they are very nice too?
Nicolette even gave me a pair of her socks to keep my baby legs warm!

I had a very fun time at Mom's birthday celebration!
Thanks for the adventures!!!

My Second Derby Weekend

On Friday, Mom and Dad went to play with the horses
just like they did last year for the Kentucky Oaks!
And did you know that I am even famous at Churchill Downs?
Look at this sign at the program window!

I talked to Mom and Dad a couple of times during the day
and told them some hot tips on a couple horses.

I knew they would be very tired the next morning,
so I made them a very good Derby morning breakfast!

Chef Riley to the rescue!

I sure did enjoy hanging out with Memaw and Grandad
and also making breakfast for Mom and Dad,
but I can't wait until I get to go see those horses too!

More Derby Fun

On Saturday afternoon,
Dad and I chose three of our favorite clubs and
headed to the Hole In One contest.

Dad said he would let me take a few swings...

So I grabbed my driver and set a couple balls up.

I didn't get the hole in one I wanted,
but I did get to stand on the sideline
and cheer for Dad!

It was very much fun
and I know next year, we'll get that hole in one!!

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

All the Derby events are in full swing
and it's a very exciting time around here!
On Friday, I got to go downtown and
party at the Fest-A-Ville!

There was a band there and I loved dancing on the great lawn.

I even had one of my favorite bears with me!

I think Baby Sis wanted to dance, too,
but she was stuck to Mom.

After I danced and danced,
I saw a whole bunch of horses!

Dad took me in for a closer look and
told me if I wanted to ride it, I could.

But then I decided that riding that horse
would probably something that I would be better at next year.

After we had very much fun at the Fest-A-Ville,
I thought my night was over, but I was wrong!

We all went to the Balloon Glow to watch all the hot air balloons
get ready to race on Saturday morning!

I sure did enjoy watching those balloons glow with Dad.

And then on the way home,
Dad even got me my very own glowing sword!

Yep, I sure do love Derby time!
And Mom told me that there's more Derby fun ahead!

Outdoor Adventures

Everyone already knows that I love golf...

And I love football, too!
HUT 1, HUT 2....

Hmmm... I wonder if there's a way to combine the two?

Maybe I'll call it folf?
Or golfball?
Or maybe goofball!

It's much harder to hit a football with two golf clubs than it looks!

All that playing can make a fellow thirsty!
I wonder what else I can get into after I have a water break?

Well this is new!

Did you know that water is coming out of this thing??

And if I hold it like this,
I can cool off my baby feets!

Yep, I'm all wet!
I just love all my outdoor adventures!
And summer is just starting!
