Wrapping Up a Good Weekend

After boating all day the day before,

I woke up after a good night's sleep
and started my morning with a few
stretches to get ready for the day.

While Mom and Daddy read the paper and
eat breakfast, I like to get into a good book.

Yep - sure does taste yummy!!

Sunday was such a nice day that dad decided to get a
hole in one at the Water Tower contest.
Next year, I'll probably be able to play too.

Then we went to see Memaw and Grandad again!

I sure do love hanging out on the water
with Memaw and Grandad!

A Day on The River

I'll do it Grandad!
Just show me the throttle again!

Memaw and I were catching a breeze up top after I maneuvered the big boat out of the marina.

Then Dad let me ride his shoulders for a better view...
On a side note - Daddy's hair sure does taste yummy!

Fun in the sun with Mom and Memaw!
We were on our way downtown to watch the
air show at Thunder Over Louisville.
I didn't like the planes one bit though!
They were very loud and I plan on writing a strongly worded letter and tell them to be quieter next year.

Yelling at all those planes made me sleepy...

Daddy and I hung out on the way back up river after I woke up from my nap.

Whew!
What an exciting day on the river!
Time to relax and go with the flow.

Back in the marina and all is well!

Piloting a boat is hard work, so we took a play break.
Here I am with Grandad and LOOK...
We caught a fish!

I got to be on a boat AND fly at the same time!
What a night of fun!
I can't wait for tomorrow when we come back during the day....

I Discover Boating

Here I am walking down the dock with Memaw Friday night.
They were aboard the Sand Castle with Captain Jacques so we went to visit too!

The Sand Castle sure is a nice boat!

I'm such a good pilot I can do this blindfolded, backwards and with one hand tied behind my back.
Or at least facing backwards!...

According to the radar and the charts, we need to make a left up here...

I think this one's the throttle, right Daddy?

Hangin With Daddy

I love flying with Daddy!
He makes me fly through the air with the greatest of ease!

He makes me laugh and laugh when he tickles my belly!

Back to the Grind...

Monday morning again and here I sit in my big boy chair waiting patiently while Mom makes breakfast for Daddy.

WAIT A MINUTE!
There's something on my cute baby toes!!!
Why I oughta....

After wrestling with those animals on my toes, it was time for a nap in the big bed.
I wonder what else the week will have in store!

My Weekend of Fun

Friday night, Memaw and Grandad loaded me up so I could go play and play at their house.
Mom and Dad had a very important meeting with some very important people.

I think they called the meeting something like "Happy Hour."
But they couldn't have been THAT happy since I wasn't there.
I'm sure they're just smiling for the camera
or maybe it was from something called martinis.....

The next morning my Aunt Steph came over so she and Mom and Memaw could go shopping and then have something called Starbucks...

I wish cousin Gus could have come to play!
But I had lots and lots of fun playing with Daddy while Mom was out.

Then my Memaw and Grandad came to see me again.
They just can't stand not seeing me for a minute!
Grandad says that every morning there is a trainer and trainee...
And they are GREAT trainees!

Wait....
What do you mean it's almost time for a bath and then bedtime?

My favorite part of my bathtime ritual is getting my hair blown dry after I'm done in the tub!

YAY!
All clean and ready to play!!

Oh, forgot about the bed time part...

The next day Mom and I went to church and then ran errands all over town.
We saw Aunt Elece and Aunt Steph too! But I was NO MOOD for pictures.
Can you believe Mom made me go to a PURSE PARTY?!
Well, I let her and everyone there know how I felt about that!
But after that we went home and I had a special visit from Grandma Joyce.
I showed her how my new activity center worked.

Bedtime AGAIN?

Whew!
After my weekend of fun, a good night's sleep is just what I needed!
