I Go Under the Sea

After a fun night of camping out with Memaw and Grandad,
Mom and Dad came to pick me up and we went for a very long ride!
But I learned that long rides are perfect for long naps!

When we got out of the car, I found out we were
all the way in Northern Kentucky at a place called Newport on the Levee!!

Newport Aquarium, here we come!!

Wow!! These fish are much bigger than the ones Dad had!!

There were also these little zebra sharks too!
I liked them a lot!

Did you know that piranhas get to be as big as a baby head?!
Yikes!!!

Mom told me that even though this was
a little bitty alligator, it could still bite my baby toes!

HELP DAD!!!!!
MOM'S FEEDING MY TOES TO THE ALLIGATOR!!!!!

Okay, birds are a lot better than alligators I've decided.

And here we are getting ready to go into Shark Alley!
Mom and I walked under lots of lots of beautiful and big fishes!

I see something Mom doesn't see here in Shark's Alley....
Look very closely....

Look at these big sharks!!!
I thought the little ones were neat,
but these are incredible!!

We're surrounded!
Mom spotted one right above us and I saw a few to the side.

There were so many sharks and big fish in this tank!
I liked watching them swim over us and all around.

And did you know that Dad is so brave that he
reached right in and petted those sharks?
Well, these were a little smaller,
but he still told me I'd have to wait until next year to pet one.

We also saw penguins at this place!
Mom said she heard one say,
"Just smile and wave, boys!"

After we visited all the animals under the sea,
we went out and looked across the big river into Ohio!

Did you know the bridge behind Dad is called the
Purple People Bridge?
Dad said we could walk all the way to Ohio on that bridge,
just not today.

After we got done looking at Ohio,
Dad and I sat down and talked about our adventures.

What do you mean it's time to go, Mom?
We were just getting started!
Oh well, another long nap does sound pretty good!

Back at home and chillin' with Dad!
What an adventurous day and guess what?!
The weekend just started!!!
Stay tuned for more adventures!
