A Day With Cousin Gus

Cousin Gus came to hang out with me today and
we did a ton of fun stuff!
We played ball...


I pushed him all over the place in my airplane...


He shared his Pop-Tart with me....


And I shared my fort with him!


After we had naps,
we shot some hoops together too.


Thanks for hangin' with me, Cuz!
I had very much fun today!

Hop On Pop

I have the best Dad in the whole big world!
Did you know he also makes a great jungle gym??


Check out my new trick!!!
I call it the upside-down-one-footed-peekabee-on-Dad's-Back.


But my favorite jungle gym game is called DADDY BOOM.
I get to jump up and down and go BOOM on Dad.


Sometimes Dad acts like he's going to stop playing DADDY BOOM
and I just push him right back down
and tell him MORE DADDY BOOM
because I know he's only kidding!


Dad and I sure do have fun playing DADDY BOOM.
And sometimes he BOOMS me!


Yep, I sure do love my Dad!

BooBoo Gets Love

Did you know that I have the best BooBoo in the whole big world?
I sure do love my baby sis!!!

I Share My Artistic Talent

I love drawing and even have a special
notebook that's all mine to draw in.
When I'm finished with a piece of artwork,
I show Booboo to get her opinion.


Sometimes she tries to give me suggestions,
like which colors to use
but for the most part I think she really likes my drawings!

I Go To The Pool

This weekend, Dad got my new boat out and I was very excited!
I couldn't wait to try it out!


When we got to the pool, I jumped right in my boat!
Then Dad told me that it would be
a lot more fun if we put the boat in the pool.


The water was a little cold at first,
but then it was very much fun!


I had some swimming lessons with Dad...


And then I decided to entertain everyone at the pool
by showing off some new moves!


Did you know that I do all my own stunts!!??
I am a very brave fellow!


After my very short "Riley William Pool Stunt Show Spectacular"
Mom decided it would be best if Dad and I just stuck to swimming
and saved the stunts for another day.


After I swam and swam and swam
and raced boats with Booboo and did my stunt show,
I was ready to relax in the pool with my shades.
Yep, this is the life for me!

I'm A Very Busy Fellow

I always try to remember to take time to smell the roses...
Like these Happy Anniversary roses that Dad got Mom a few days ago!


But now that I'm almost 19 months old,
I've become a very busy fellow.
In the mornings, I help Dad get ready for work
by going over some notes with him about his day.


And then I go over all our notes with Mom
and sometimes even do a little bit of artwork.


I'm doing my very best to grow big and strong like Dad,
but I've got a while to go before I can wear his shoes!

I Take A Trip to the Zoo

This morning, Dad grabbed my shades and my stroller
and we all headed out to the Zoo!
It's one of my all time favorites places to go!


The first thing we saw was this very big turtle
that was almost as big as me!


Then we went in to see King Louie.


There was so much to point at and so much to see!


Look at this very beautiful bald eagle!


And did you know that there are 395 puddles at the zoo??
I know because I found every single one of them!


On our way out, we saw these lemurs just hanging out in the shade
and I decided that was a very good idea so we headed for home.


My big zoo adventure wore me out
and I didn't even finish my NUM before I had to close my eyes and rest!

Happy Anniversary to Mom and Dad

Can you believe that 2 whole years ago this very day,
Mom and Dad got married?

And if you look very closely,
you can even see me in this picture!
I'm in Mom's belly!!

Louisville Ink

Today, Mom and I went down to Tattoo Charlie's so I could get some ink!

Just kidding!
This cool horse tattoo is only a temporary one...

And I'm very glad it was just temporary!
After I thought about it,
I decided I didn't like that horse being stuck on my arm
and Mom washed it off.

Grandad Has A Happy Birthday

Did you know that yesterday was Grandad's birthday?
Booboo and I went to his house
to make sure that he had a very happy one!
And thank you very much for my special tool box!
Mom said that the pictures of me and my tools
are on Memaw's camera so we have to get them from her soon.

Family Fun Fourth of July

On Friday, Dad asked for my help with some things in the garage.
He said the whole big Kentucky family was coming over
and I decided I would help by making sure the driveway was mowed.

Then Saturday came and everyone got here and there was lots of food!
But the only problem was that Mom put the salsa on my tray,
but the chips were way on the other side of the table!!!
Can you believe that??

After we all got some NUM,
it was time for my favorite summer treat...
POPSICLES FOR EVERYBODY!

And then Cousin Gus decided to start the wave!

And then Cousin McKena joined in....

And then it was MY turn to do the wave!
(Which was a good thing because I had to fix my shorts too...)

After we did the wave,
we all sat down on the steps and enjoyed our popsicles.
Mom said Boo-boo could have one next year.

Dad built a big huge fire later.

I sure did love running with everybody in the yard and
picking up more stickies for that fire.

I think Cousin Gus had a good time running around too!
Look, he even got a touchdown!!

I sure did enjoy having the whole big family to play with!

And when Grandma Joyce was showing
some soccer moves to McKena and Gus...

I showed Grandad some of my own fancy ball footwork!

But then it got very late and everyone had to go bye-bye.
I sure did have a very good time and
was sad to see everyone leave...
