Taking Steps Toward Taking Steps

Did you know that I've been practicing walking?
Usually Mom or Dad helps me, but now I have this great toy!
All I have to do is hold onto it and I can walk all by myself!
Dad says it great practice for the mowing the lawn,
but we'll see about that!
Besides, isn't that what baby sisters are for?

I Go to the Pumpkin Patch

Today, Mom, Dad and I took a long ride up to Indiana!
I napped in the car and when I woke up,
I discovered I was at a place called Huber's Family Farm.

When we got out of the car, I saw all sorts of big tractors.
I couldn't believe that we were all going to get on one!

But we sure did!
We sat on this tractor and we rode and rode over a bumpy trail.
We passed ponies and sheep and donkeys and apple trees....

When we got off the tractor,
I found that we were in a very big pumpkin patch with tons of pumpkins!!
But before we started our search for the great pumpkin,
I decided there was no better time or place for a picnic lunch.

After I had my picnic lunch,
Dad and I spotted this big pumpkin for me!

It was ten times the size of my baby head!!!!

I liked it but we decided to look around a little bit more.
OH LOOK DAD!
There's the perfect one right there!!!

Yep!
We found our perfect pumpkin!
Dad told me that I could help him carve it later.

I sure did enjoy my tractor ride and time in the pumpkin patch!
What a very nice day for an outdoor adventure!

I Kick It Zoo Style Again

Memaw came over today to go to the Zoo Party with me.
Mom got my tiger costume out and
said that this time I would have whiskers just like real tigers!

Shhhhhhh.....
Mine are just drawn on...

But I don't care if they are just drawn on!
My whiskers look as cute as me!

I was on the prowl in the parking lot
while we waited for Dad to get home from work.

Here I am with Mom at the entrance of the Zoo.

Did you know that the Emerald City was in the Zoo??
Memaw and I found it after we went down the yellow brick road.

They also had a treasure ship, too.
There were some pirates around the ship,
but I decided not to get my picture with any of them.

After a while, it was feeding time at the Zoo!
Tigers have to keep their strength up when they
play so very hard like I do.

And then guess who I saw?!
It was Aunt Keiran!!
At first I didn't recognize her because she was
dressed up like some French fries.
She told me she was volunteering with UPS to hand out candy.

Did you see how dark it got?
It was getting way past my bedtime!

After another big adventure,
it was a very good time for a cat nap..

Hanging with Dad

Did you know in the mornings after my breakfast,
I always help Dad get ready for work?
I like to untie his shoes for him and hang on to his pant legs
and sometimes I keep him company while he shaves...
Well until Mom tells me, "No babies in the bathroom!"

She can try and boss me all she wants but
with Dad behind me I'm not scared of anything!

I love when Dad comes home for lunch.
Today, he brought home a magazine with all sorts of houses to look at.
I pointed out the one I'd like to move to next.

And then when he gets home from work in the afternoon,
we play and play all night before my bedtime.

Yep, I love hanging with Dad.
And, Dad, I know my hands are tiny now,
but someday they'll be as big as yours!!

"C" Is For Cookie

Yum!
When Mom was at the Krogers last time,
she got these teething biscuits for me to chew on!

They taste very good and are very messy...
my favorite combination!

Those teething biscuits are
yummy yummy yummy in my
tummy tummy tummy!!!!!

I Hit the Links With Dad Again

Yesterday, I hit the links with Dad again to study his swing
to prepare for when I get my first set of clubs.
That should be any day now....

He's got a very good swing to study....
He told me next year he'd be recording my swings...

Mom and I gave him lots of golf claps!

After he got done showing that bucket who's boss,
we loaded up the clubs and headed back home to watch the big game...
YAY CATS!!

Yep, weekends are the best for lots of
quality time with Dad!

I Go to the World's Largest Halloween Party

Mom and Dad told me I had a very special night in store
so they dressed me up in my tiger outfit.
But I don't think the Critter liked my costume though...

She was pretty jealous that I looked like a cat too!
Mom said I shouldn't try to pet her right now,
so we headed out the Louisville Zoo.

Here I am all dressed up with my bucket ready for lots of candy!
I wonder if they have any Puffs?....

Trick or Treat!
I liked all the music they had along the trail
and danced and danced in my stroller.

Did you know that Snow White was going to be here?

We also ran into Dorothy and her friends on the Yellow Brick Road.

Some of the animals even came out to see me in my costume!
I was pointing them all out to Mom and Dad.

I also hung out with Fred and Barney for a little while.

The one person I DID NOT LIKE
was the Mad Hatter.
He made ME very mad and I let him know.
Dad said it was a life experience and just to shake it off,
but I was still mad for a while after this.

After that "life experience",
I was a little camera shy but I didn't mind posing with this ghost.

But then I saw Belle and was all better!
I liked her much better than that stupid Mad Hatter.

All in all I had a very good time,
but I think I'll take Mom's advice next time and
take a nap before we go to the World's Largest Halloween Party!

Avast Ye Matey!

Ahoy and avast and shiver me timbers!!
How do you like my cute pirate outfit?!

Oh yeah,
pirates aren't supposed to be cute.
Here's my mean face!!!

Just kidding!
I'm a very laid back pirate...

Thanks for the Halloween costume, Aunt Debbie!
I've had it since I was in Mom's belly and
was very happy to put it on!
(It came with a hat, but Mom couldn't remember
where she put it. I was mad at her for that!!
I'm sure we'll find it soon though....)

Dancin' Machine

Mom, Dad and I went out to dinner last night and I heard a great song!
I just had to bust a move or two - just like Dad taught me.
Mom said that she wasn't surprised I liked this song
since I used to listen to it when I was in her belly.

Elephants, Tigers and Gorillas - OH MY

Mom got me up from my nap today and told me we were
going to go the Zoo to see all sorts of animals!!

But wait a second, Mom.
You're not going to feed my baby toes to the alligators
like you did at the aquarium, are you?

Okay good!
Then I'm ready to go!!!

Did you know that my mom had talked to Gus's mom
and they decided to meet us at the zoo?

We saw all sorts of animals!
Look at this big baby elephant!!

We also saw a whole bunch of gorillas.
I liked to point at them.

Here's one of the gorillas we saw just hanging out on a rock.

Look Mom!!....

It's a very big Critter Cat!!!

I think Cousin Gus and Aunt Steph enjoyed the zoo too.
Aunt Steph was pointing out all sorts of good stuff to see.

My Cousin Gus is so cool!
I loved his hat!

Here we are in Charlie Brown's pumpkin patch.

We were talking about which pumpkins we were going to take home.

But we couldn't decide and asked Aunt Steph to come help us.
I was trying to get Cousin Gus to smile for the picture...

Would you believe that Mom joined us in the pumpkin patch too!

After we looked at all the animals,
we took a break on this bench and said CHEESE for the camera.

It sure was a good day and
I have a feeling I'll be going back very soon....

Thanks for coming to play, Cousin Gus!
