James and Riley's Egg-cellent Adventure

Today I got to dye Easter eggs with Cousin James!

My Aunt Katie helped us too!
She was a very good helper.

That's my egg that I did all by myself with Memaw's help.
She drew an "R" on it just for me!

Baby Sis tried to help too,
but Mom said she was too little.
I guess she'll have to wait until next year!
I told her not to worry,
I didn't get to help Mom and Dad last year.

Cousin James and I painted all those eggs....

I even painted Memaw a little bit!

And Cousin James painted his fingers with all that egg dye!

After we got done with all those eggs,
Memaw gave me my very own Easter basket
and told me that we going to have an Easter egg hunt.

I think I see one....

Yep! My very first egg on my very first Easter egg hunt!

I found another one right away and the chase was on for more!

But first, let me just put this right here...

Right along with the other egg I found...

Maybe I'll just put some blocks in my basket...
they're easier for me to find.

But Cousin James found lots of eggs!

I had Aunt Janet help me find
a couple eggs that were very high up...

All that egg hunting can wear a fellow out!

And then when Dad got off work,
I was very excited to show him my egg and
tell him all about my day!

Thanks Cousin James for the Egg-cellent Adventure!

I Go Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Yesterday, I got to go for a sled ride
with this cool sled that Aunt Janet let me borrow!

WHOA!!
Hold on, Dad!
I sure wish this thing had handles!!

After I rode that sled all over,
Dad said he was going to teach me how to make a snowball.

I made sure I paid very good attention.

After we made lots of snowballs,
Dad said to throw one to Mom so she could catch it.

But I couldn't throw that far so I let Dad do it.

Look at all this snow! It almost goes up to my belly button!
I wanted to try to walk around in it,
but it was a little too deep.

And then Dad said it was time to head back inside.

When we got back in,
I let him know I wasn't real happy about having my play time cut short.

Oh well.... At least I had more fun than Sis!
This is how she spent her snow day!!

Thanks for the sled, Aunt Janet!
It was very much fun!!

I Start Packing

Since Mom and Dad said we wouldn't be living in our condo much longer,
I decided I would help them pack all of our stuff up.

After I helped pack a box,
I would write on it with a marker...
Let's see... I'm sure this is my stuff...

I was a very careful packer and used lots of newspaper.

I even had to take my fort down.
I didn't like that part at all...
Hopefully we can put it back up very soon!

And even Aunt Janet came over to help us pack!
She and I shared a snack on these cool plates she brought over.

And did you know that Baby Sis didn't even help at all??
She slept through all of it!

All that packing can make a fellow very thirsty!!

After I got almost all of our stuff packed up,
it was time to rest!
Dad said that for all my help,
I get to go play in the snow tomorrow!
Stay tuned for more adventures!

Adventures at Memaw's

I love going to see Memaw and Grandad!
I can be as goofy as I want to be!
I can put blankets on my head
and walk around in my diaper if I want!

And I can use a bowl for a helmet and
run all over the place!

Plus, I even get to be in charge of the remote control!

I can load my backpack with all sorts of toys...

And then I can check out the pantry and
load my backpack with all sorts of snacks that are NUM!

And after I play very hard,
it's time for Riley Soup in the sink.

I even get to have bubbles!

Yep, it's always a whale of a good time at Memaw's!

Mom left the ironing board out one day and
I thought it would be fun to try out some surf moves
I saw on TV once...

Everybodys learning how
Come on and safari with me....

Steady as she goes!!!!!

I guess this is what they call a wipe out!!
Oh well... I'd still love to hit the beach with my rad moves!

I Visit Grandma D

Today was such a nice day that I put on my shades
and took a trip to see Grandma D.

I also saw her puppy dog Abby.
I told Grandma D several times that puppy dogs say BARK BARK.

It was very good seeing you, Grandma D!
