My First Boat

On Saturday, I took my very own

boat out to the Ohio River!!

Well, actually, I just was piloting
Memaw and Grandad's big tub...
but I know I'll be cruising the Ohio next year for sure.

I sure do love that water!

I did get to go on the big boat on Sunday though!

It's nice to relax on the river and
talk to Memaw and Grandad.

And after Dad got done hitting
some holes in one,
he came to join us too!!!!

And then he and Mom fished and fished
and I'm not totally sure,
but I think they caught a few
fifteen pounders!!!

It's time to go home??!!
Oh no!
But I know I'll be back on that river soon!

I Get A Present

I woke up Friday morning and
I just knew I was going to have a good day!!

I had told Dad earlier that day that if he wanted to,
he could meet me and Mom for lunch and I would buy!
Now if I could just reach his wallet.......

We went to the Qdoba and I sat in my
very own highchair for the first time!

The best part about lunch was Aunt Keiran came too and
she had a Happy 6 Months Old to Me Present,
even though I won't be that old for a little bit longer.

SHOES!
I got my first pair of baby shoes!!
She told Mom that they were easy for her to get on,
but hard for me to take off...
We'll see about that!

Thanks Aunt K!
I love my giraffe shoes!
I'm sure that when I start walking next week,
they will help very much!

Little Green Men

I learn something new everyday and
today I learned what peas are...

Did you know that besides rubbing peas all
over your toes and fingers and arms...

that you can also eat them?!

Who knew!!!??

All done for now!
I think peas are pretty good...

But they are pretty messy!

I'm glad I had an old shirt on!
Maybe next time I should just
have peas nakee butt...

But look! All the peas washed right out!
All clean and ready to play and play!

On The Move

This morning, Mom and I were playing like we always do.
But then, for some reason she took all of my toys
and moved them way far away from me!

What else could I do?
I had to go get them!

NOT NOW MOM!
I'm crawlin' here!!!!!!

Success!
I made it all the way to my elefant!

That's enough cardio for now....
I think I'm going to like being mobile though...
And I've been scouting the place out -
there's a TON of fun stuff to get into!

I Make A Big Splash

Mom and I woke up extra early and
went for a walk to the Walgreens.
While we were there, she found a pool
that was made just for me!
Daddy blew it up for me as soon as we got home.

It sure is nice to relax in -
even without any water!!

What fun this is!!!!

And I got to swim nakee butt too!
This was the first time I've ever gone
skinny dipping outside of the bathtub...

Daddy's giving me instructions on how to
do the backstroke and freestyle.
He says I'll probably be jumping
off the high dive next year.

I sure do like having my own pool!!!

After my fingers got all wrinkly,
it was time to get out and get dry...
But I know I'll be back in VERY soon!

Garage Toes

On Friday, Memaw came to pick me up
so I could go play and play at her house.
I told her I would drive...
I just had to find the right key.

I had a feeling I would need to pace myself because
going over to Memaw's and Grandad's is ALWAYS an adventure.
So, first I just hung out for a while and relaxed.

But THEN things got a lot more interesting!
Grandad took me out to the garage and
I got a wrench so I could help him work on the car!

The wrench made a better chew toy though..

I jumped and jumped and
played and played but mostly

worked and worked!

Being a Corvette apprentice is VERY hard!

So Grandad and I took an afternoon break
after putting some wires on Memaw's car!
Grandad said I'd have to wait
until next year to drive it.

I sure do love being in the garage with Grandad.

And look at my feets and toes!!!

Thanks for the garage toes Grandad!!

All that work can make a fellow hungry!
Memaw washed my garage toes
and then I had some rice cereal using
the spoon Mom used when she was my age.
(Even though I was surprised they even HAD spoons then!)

A Visit to Grandma D's

On Thursday, I went for a ride with
Mom and Dad to see Grandma D.

I got to see Gus's Mom -
my Aunt Steph....

And I got my picture taken with
my Uncle Steve and Aunt Elece too.

We'll play again soon, Grandma D!
