Happy Birthday to Dad!!!!

Here's me and Dad on my birthday!!!
He and I have been hanging out ever since!

Sometimes, Dad rocks me to sleep.
I sure do like those nights!


Plus, we even go golfing together!


I love it when he tickles me!
It makes me laugh and laugh!!


Yep - Dad and I do everything together!
Even chase peacocks!!

I Contribute to the Water Bill

Look at all this water just for me!!!
Mom said I was getting too big for my baby tub
so I got to get in the big tub!
I splashed and splashed in my water seat!!

I was having so much fun even the Critter came to see me.
I wanted her to get in, but Mom said that wasn't a good idea.

I sure do like all this water and these bubbles just for me!
Bath night just got so much more fun!

Ice Water

Here I am at lunch with Mom and Dad
and Memaw and Grandad came too!
I even got my very own big glass!

Well, it was Grandad's but I told him I would share.
I took a whole bunch of ice cubes out for him.

My hands and lips got very cold,
but throwing those ice cubes was very fun!

So far, Memaw and Grandad pretty much let me do whatever I want!
I can even climb all over them at lunch!

See how good I share?
I sure liked putting that cold water on Grandad's nose!

Family Fun Day at the Fair

This morning, Mom and Dad loaded me in my carseat
before I'd even had my morning nap!!
I had to sleep in the car and then when I woke up,
I was somewhere I'd never been before...

Would you believe I was at the Kentucky State Fair!
Look at this big sheep thing!

There were also some big pigs in there!
I didn't really like the way it smelled though.

Dad also showed me some ponies!
He said I'd have to wait until next year before I could ride them.

Here I am taking a little break in front of the big fountain.

Then we all stood in front of the fountain
and let the mist cool us off in the hot day.

There were lots and lots of people and lots and lots of stuff to see!

I even got to dress up like an astronaut!!
Houston, we have liftoff!!!

There was also a cool police car that I got to drive around the whole place!
Just kidding!
I just sat in it so Mom could get my picture.

Then outside, a whole bunch of people stopped me and Dad
and wanted our opinions on life in Kentucky.
Film at 11:00!

We ended the day in the best way too!
Dad won two stuffed animals for me!
It sure was a very exciting day at the Fair!

Cute Me

Did you know that I turned 8 months old on Friday?
I played and played all day to celebrate!

I also decided that I was getting to be a very big boy!
So big in fact that I decided I didn't need my diaper.
It's a new game I play with Mom.
I take it off, she puts it on!

I humored Mom for a little while so she could take bunches of pictures.

Yep - here's cute 8 month old me!!

I Have a Very Busy Day

On Thursday, Mom and Dad had to see a lady about a house

so I got to go hang out with Memaw and Grandad!

I have lots of toys over there too and I played and played inside.

But after I was inside for a while,
I talked Grandad into setting up my baby pool
so I could splish and splash in the water!

Did you know that playing in the water was one of my favorite things??


Mewaw put lots and lots of floatie things in my pool for me!

But I'm sure there must be more in this bucket....

I'll have more toys, please....

Just kidding!!
There were plenty of toys in the pool for me!

All that swimming can sure make a fellow hungry!

YAY for squash!!!

That was a very good lunch,
but it was a very messy lunch....

Time for Riley Soup in Memaw's sink!
After I had a bath, Mom and Dad came to get me.

But before we left, I made my first Public Service Announcement
with the help of Grandad's new truck.

Peek A Boo

I Get A New Toy

Good morning to you!
Mom told me that I had an adventure to go on
so I was very excited!
Memaw came over and we all went to a place called Little Treasures.
It was very crazy in there though and
I made sure to let Mom know that I didn't want to go back!
I did get some very good stuff though!!

Look at this cool walker thing!
I just stand behind it and then
I can walk all by myself with Mom's help.

I can also just sit down and play with all the stuff on the front!

I also got my very own laptop!
Now I can learn my ABC's!
Hmmm... I think this is a C...

I sure do like learning,
but it's a lot more fun just to crawl all over this!

And here's my favorite new toy!
I just stand up beside it and press lots of buttons
and make the top go around and around!

Would you believe that it also has pages for me to flip?
This is the best thing ever!!

Even though I didn't really enjoy the shopping experience,
I sure do like my new toys!

Doin' the Dew

What d'ya mean that I can't have this, Mom?
I'm sure Dad left it here for me to play with!
